Why is there no scoop in my bag?Updated 4 hours ago

We are proudly a plastic scoop-free brand. This decision, made in 2023, came after thoughtful consideration and years of consistent feedback from our customers. While our scoops were recyclable, we felt we could do better. By removing them altogether, we’re eliminating 7.5 tonnes of plastic from the supply chain and eventual landfill each year. We communicated this shift across multiple channels over the past two years through emails to subscribed customers, across our socials, on product pages, and in a more detailed article on our website Proudly Plastic Scoop-Free | Sustainable Packaging | True Protein

We include a clear note on every product page — just below the price and ‘add to cart’ button — advising that our pouches do not contain a scoop. This is part of our sustainability efforts to reduce unnecessary waste. All serving instructions are included on the back of the pouch to help with accurate measuring at home.

Ease of Use
Our updated packaging reflects the change and now includes exact weight (in grams) along with metric spoon measurements (tsp and tbsp). Please note that tablespoon volumes may vary slightly between products due to differences in powder density — meaning a tablespoon of one product may not weigh the same as another. For accuracy, we recommend referring to the label for the correct serving size or using a kitchen scale.

Sustainable Scoops

If you do not have standard measuring utensils at home, we offer a True Stainless Steel Scoop Set. These branded metric scoops come in a compact eco-bag and are great for both True products and everyday cooking. They also include a handy table with suggested scoop equivalents for our most popular products. Just a heads-up: our products are measured by weight, not volume, so you can disregard the mL markings on the scoops.
