Why don’t you use carrageenan in your RTD (Ready to Drink Shake)Updated 10 days ago
At True Protein, our 'Be True' philosophy starts with what we leave out of our bottles. You may have noticed that many convenience shakes use Carrageenan—a common thickening agent derived from seaweed—to create a creamy texture.
However, research and community feedback have linked Carrageenan to digestive discomfort and gut sensitivity. We believe that a recovery shake should make you feel great, not weighed down.
That’s why we’ve chosen to completely exclude Carrageenan and all artificial additives from our RTD range. We prefer to keep things clean, using natural processes like ultra-filtration to achieve a smooth, delicious texture without compromising your digestive wellness. It’s better for your gut, and better for your performance
