What kind of collagen do you use in your bars and Collagen blend?Updated 2 days ago
The Source: Hydrolyzed Bovine Collagen
In both our Protein Bars and our dedicated Collagen blends, we use premium Hydrolyzed Bovine Collagen.
Why Bovine? We choose bovine (cow) sources because it offers a superior amino acid profile that closely mirrors the collagen found naturally in the human body, ensuring excellent bioavailability and absorption.
The Breakdown: Types I and III Not all collagen is created equal. We specifically formulate with Types I and III because they are the most abundant types found in your body (making up over 90% of your total collagen).
Type I :
This is the strongest type, essential for building the structure of your skin, hair, and nails.
Benefit: It helps improve skin hydration, firmness, and elasticity, reducing the appearance of fine lines.
Type III
Found alongside Type I, this type is crucial for the structure of muscles, organs, and arteries.
Benefit: It plays a vital role in gut health (supporting the gut lining) and maintaining strong tendons and ligaments for injury prevention.
Our collagen is "hydrolyzed," meaning it has been broken down into smaller peptides. This ensures it is easily digested and rapidly absorbed by your body to get to work where it's needed most.
Our of our range in New & Improved Collagen with Vitamin C | True Protein, Rich Chocolate, Fruit Punch, Natural and French Vanilla flavours are halal suitable.
