How to use a new Australia Post Parcel Collect addressUpdated an hour ago

Australia Post is simplifying Parcel Collect delivery addresses from 1 September 2026. The new format uses a short identifying number and no longer includes a street number or street name.

The change is being introduced gradually, so you may still see your old address in MyPost for a short time. Use the Parcel Collect address currently shown in your MyPost account and your parcel will be delivered as normal.

How to enter your Parcel Collect address

  1. Enter your name exactly as it appears in your MyPost account.
  2. When checkout asks for the street address or Address line 1, enter Parcel Collect followed by the 2-digit identifying number.
  3. Enter the suburb, state, and postcode shown in MyPost.

Example:

  • Old delivery address: Parcel Collect 12345 67890, 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney NSW 2000
  • New delivery address: Parcel Collect 10, Sydney NSW 2000

Check your saved payment wallet address

Also check the saved default delivery address in Apple Pay, Shop Pay, PayPal, or another payment wallet. An older saved address may replace the address you enter at checkout.

If checkout rejects the address

Reply with a screenshot of the checkout error so we can investigate.
